Lorin goes to Art Basel, dresses up, puts on nice clothes, matching accessories and Lorin is ready. The paths are predetermined, the big crowd is out of reach. Lorin herself is the scene of the action, as a promenade through Basel. And Lorin can be visited.
Is Lorin male? - The name is....
Aren't ships female? - Actually yes....
Since Lorin's first hour, contemporary culture has been produced on board, like a smoking factory. Culture freighter Lorin itself is part of the performing team for the PerformanceDrives and serves as a venue for the CargoSpaceGallery and CargoSpaceConcerts.

have their origins at The Art Basel. They each give during this globally interesting week from an additional point of view a cultural interdisciplinary contribution. The project works wherever there is enough centrally located water for Lorin's shipping.
