ALEKSANDER GABRYŚ,

PROGRAMM, DOUBLE BASS SOLO

A versatile musician, technologist and audio engineer, Hassan Estakhrian’s works are characterized by picturesque soundscapes and unique musical vision. The British composer Marc Yeats is known for his great variety of sounds. The soloist's father, Ryszard Gabryś, deeply explores the nuances of the double bass in his works and presents a unique perspective of contemporary music. Anmari Mëtsa Yabi Wili's compositions offer fascinating insights into cultural fusions. Erik Ulman expresses emotional intensity and expressiveness. Aleksander Gabryś presents innovative approaches to contemporary sound worlds. Elżbieta Sikora creates a unique musical atmosphere by exploring tonal boundaries. Thomas Kessler's piece is the highlight of the program, challenging the double bassist's technical abilities. Helmut Oehring says: The small new solo for double bass with low C is freshly melancholic, courageously brave and clearly moves forward with the title UmBruch.
