One basis and orientation point of the composition for the PerformanceDrives is a song from the Peruvian Andes, which the composer heard for the first time in the Peruvian jungle, at that moment when she received her middle name Mëtsa Yabi. The momentum and the song cover the basic concepts of the project theme such as origin, freedom, peace, love, joy. On the one hand, the text exudes a lot of sadness, on the other hand, the combination of the melody and harmonies with the simple heavy drum rhythms provoke energetic ecstasy of joy and exuberance. The connection of these two opposing forces are typical for this style of music, called Sikuri.
